Happy Thanksgiving

I hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving Day today. I have so much to be thankful for I could never list it all here. But I do want to say I am thankful for Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross for me. I know He loves me so much He would have done that even if it was for me alone but He died for all of us. Every single person. Do you know him? I mean really know him. You can. All you have to do is to ask. It is so simple, just ask. Love to you all and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Black Friday

Are any of you crazy enough to do the "Black Friday" shopping? Both my sisters, a few of our daughters (we have 6 between us) and I lose our minds and are at the stores no later than ... are you ready... 3:30 a.m.!!!!! ACKKKKK!!!! Yes we have lost what little minds we have. AND the craziest part is we are all at a point that we don't actually have that much to shop for, at least until we get there and see all of the good sales. We do get the black friday ads ahead of time and then on Thanksgiving night, we pour over the ads, make our lists and map out what stores to go to first which is (sorry) usually Wally World. They do have good sales and they stay open 24 hours so you don't have to wait in line for them to open. I have usually been able to get most of what I have on my list and if not, then I didn't need it anyway. Gosh are we tired afterwards but we have husbands that are really understanding OR are out there with us. We do it just for the fun of it. Of course some of our daughters don't think of this as "fun." They just don't know what they are missing. Us shoppers??? we just miss out on a little sleep. Come on out, we'll see you bright and early Friday morning.

Christmas open house

One of my sisters and I have a booth at a local antique mall and last Saturday they had their Christmas open house. We were both so excited to decorate our booth and make some Christmas items to sell. This is our first venture together and we are having so much fun making things, going to garage sales, yard sales, auctions and other such stuff. We love it. Our other sister has a booth at another place and has had for a long time so this gives all three of us an excuse to go "junking". Below are some pictures of our newly decorated booth. It's very small but we hope to expand in the near future. Come by to see us if you are in the area.

Big News!

I have a new picture of Noah to post here. Actually a couple of new ones. Noah and his mom and dad came over for a short visit Saturday night and here is what Noah was wearing. Isn't that just the cutest way to tell us the great news!

Hee Haw 09

Wow, what a busy weekend. It's alway this way the weekend of our church's annual Hee Haw fellowship, completing the script, having rehearsals, decorating, setting up tables, cooking, more rehearsals and finally the show. It's a lot of fun but also a lot of work BUT I couldn't do it without all of the wonderful help I have. The ladies that do the cooking are great and I don't even have to think about that part. I just know it will be taken care of. The kids that are in the program are great too. So willing to help set up and clean up. Jessica took over part of the show this year directing the kids in decorating and getting furniture moved to the stage. We are really blessed to have her as our youth pastor and no I am not prejudiced just stating a fact. We have been doing this for five years now and this originally just started out to be a tribute to Gary's father whose birthday was October 30. Everyone enjoyed it so much that we have continued it ever since.
