The Fort Smith Flea Market is in three weeks so I have lots of new projects in the works and I even remembered to take before pictures. Can't wait to finish so I can show you what I have been up to. My junkin' sisters and I went to the Highway 22 garage sales last week and got some of the best treasures...including a vintage Bendix Automatic Home Ironer. I have never seen one or even heard of such a thing. I'll have to remember to take a picture so I can post it here. So.......stay tuned, same time and same channel. (I'm showing my age now and you are too if you remember those words from TV.)
I am just a silly grandparent constantly taking pictures of my grandsons. So here are more pictures of Noah practicing T-ball for his big first game on Saturday. He is doing so good but then of course he is.....after all he is my grandson.
Noah had his first ever t-ball practice yesterday. I can't believe they actually let 3 year olds play. It was so cute....lots of laughs. Poor little Jonah wanted out there so badly to play. He absolutely loves anything to do with balls of any kind. Just to watch Noah, I think he had a blast. The coach was so patient with all of the kids and was actually teaching them to basics of baseball like how to run the bases and which one to run to first. So cute. And of course Noah is standing by the girls. He is such a flirt.
I have been dyeing Easter eggs with either my kids or grandkids for probably about 30 years. Even after my kids were older, we still dyed them every year and now that we have two grandsons we have not stopped the tradition. The only thing different this year was we used Kool-Aid. I never would have thought of that. I do know that red Kool-Aid stains your mouth so why not eggs. We tried it and wow....it works great and you don't have that stinky vinegar. Take a look!
We have so much fun with these two little stinkers.
Have you ever received a gift that was unexpected and so wonderful that you couldn't believe it was actually "for me?" Each one of us has been given a gift like that and all we have to do is accept it. Jesus gave us the all-time best gift anyone could ever give.....his life. He gave it to cover my sins and yours. He accepted that he was going to be tortured and killed because he loves me and you. Don't go another day, hour, minute or second without his perfect love filling every fiber of your being. He is there and all you have to do is accept his gift and say "for me?"
I am a child of the King, wife to the best husband in the world, mom of four wonderful children and one great daughter-in-law, Nana to the three cutest little boys and one beautiful little girl. We have a wonderful life. Who ever would have thought that I could have all of this.
