Tears of Joy!

Sunday was one of the best days of my life. I have several of these days: my marriage to my best friend, adopting my first two wonderful kiddos, the birth of the next two wonderful kiddos, having each of them asking Jesus to be in their lives and then when they were all baptized. Now my first grandchild was baptized. When we were at teen camp this past June, Noah was there. After one of the night services, he came to me and told me he wanted to be baptized. My heart just melted. So this past Sunday his Papa got the awesome opportunity to baptize him. I cried through the entire thing but I think most of the church did too. And it is so awesome that the teens are so close to my grandkids. In fact, one of them posted on Facebook that her "little brother" was baptized. I am just a big 'ole puddle of tears. God has been so incredibly good to me. It is amazing!

Thank you Jesus!

My poor baby!!!

Jonah slid down a water slide at a church event, gashed his little head pretty badly but he was such a brave kid. I think Mom and Dad and Nana and Papa were more upset than he was.
But even that didn't keep him down. He is ready to sell you some tomatoes.
But that was a week ago. Now he is ready to get all of those stapes out of his head.

And get to go back to the water park. Yeah! Seriously, we just thank God for protecting our little Jonah. It could have been so much worse. Thank you Jesus!!!!

July 4th

We had a great 4th of July. We really don't do a lot but I think we do just enough that everyone is not just terribly exhausted. Down on the square in our little town there are several inflatable water slides that the boys love to play on. In fact, Jonah, whose birthday is just four days later, thinks this is set up for his birthday every year. He turns five this year so it may be the last year we can get away with that. There are lots of vendors with food, snow cones, items to buy, music and other activities. We even stopped to play a game of checkers.
Then later in the day its off to the house to shoot off fireworks and watch the big show from downtown Greenwood from our house. This was also the first year Jonah and Noah shot fireworks by themselves.
