camp 2017

I'm going to try to finish up our camp pictures because I already have so many summer pictures just waiting to be published. So far we have had a very busy summer and church camp is always such a big part of it. We have swimming, crazy games, lots of food......
 movie night and popcorn
 cute smiles...
these two steal my heart....they are actually too young to be campers but that didn't stop them.
 uno contests....
Jessica with her favorite companion....the bull horn
 minute to win it...
 buddies....
 campfire...
 kickball...
 more crazy faces...
 resting with Juju....
Oh my. Tears on this one watching Dad praying with his son, Jonah. I think I may have glimpsed just a smidgen of what God feels watching us.
How do I say this. Sandy and I have been close friends simply forever, our kids grew up together and now their kids are growing up together. Love watching McKinzie sitting in Jamie's lap so naturally.
 JOJO!
 So tired.
 Isn't he cute.
 And this one too.
Papa speaking to the kids and using Noah in his example.
Those teenages in the background are so special to us. We couldn't do camp without their help.

1st Serve Tennis

The two older boys have been going to 1st Serve Tennis this summer again. This is Noah's third summer and Jonah's second and I think they really like it. My nephew, Austin, is Noah's coach again this year and I love it that they are getting to know each other better. This is sponsored by FCA and I love how they start each morning's session gathered in a circle with prayer. Such a great influence.

The last day of tennis camp, they wore their new shirts and had a very special visitor.

Summer is in full swing

I'm not much on summer because of the heat and especially the humidity but at the same time I know the kids really like it because they are out of school, can swim, spend more time with family and friends and just simply play. I love how Lily has her brother's shorts on and two different boots. That's my girl.
Collecting eggs with your best friend
More time to play football with dad
and more time to be a super hero.
It's also church camp time. This is something we all look forward to every year. The boys have been going since before they were old enough to go. Next year I'm hoping Lily can go with us. And you get the cutest pictures.
The teenagers helping with the kids camp.
 and with climbing Robber's Cave
 Worship
 Wild and crazy games
campfire and s'mores

 Aren't big brothers great.
