Winter 2014

The Farmer's Almanac predicted this area would be colder and wetter than normal and they were right on the mark. We have had much colder temps and lots of snow and ice. Because of the snow, the boys of course wanted to build a snowman but this snow we have been having wasn't the kind that would stick together until the last one we had on Friday night. (That one kind of surprised us all. One of those where the weatherman says we are going to get snow but it won't stick or won't be very much kind of things.) While it was snowing Jonah got to go stand in it and loved it. He is so my kid because I love it when it is snowing. So peaceful and comforting to me. You can tell by the look on his face that he loves it.

On Saturday they finally got to build their snowman complete with a Power Ranger sword to fend off anything that might take him down.

Gotta love the snow BUT if we aren't going to have anymore snow, I'm done with the cold weather and ready to have spring so I can get outside and go picking junk without freezing to death.
