Just some pictures of our camping trip a couple of weeks ago. Sorry pics are small, don't know how to make them larger. Kind of technically challenged I guess. We had fun but it was still too hot to camp. Maybe next year we will go a little later and it will be cooler. The second picture is me and Jamie setting up my tent. Yep, that's right. I have my own tent. Cool huh? The fourth pic is of Jamie falling into a group of the kids on the hayride.

Just thought I would post some various pictures of Jessica's numerous birthday celebrations with her friends and with her youth kids. First picture is of her "surprise" look at youth party. Jess really loves partying for her birthday.

Well, I can't believe it. We have a new cat. His name is Cecil. I said I didn't want another one after Mama Cat but how can you resist it when Jess makes that face of hers. This one is going with her though when she does move out. I had forgotten what a mess young cats are. INTO EVERYTHING! Here are some of his sweeter moments.

Dallas weekend

Gary, Jessica, Jamie, Kacee and I left Friday night for Dallas to attend Serennah's wedding on Saturday morning. The wedding was very nice. We came back home right afterwards except for Jamie and Kacee. They stayed on with Derek and Natalie.

Magic Springs

I went to Magic Springs Saturday to help Jess drive the youth kids down there. What a mad house. Park is too small for this many people. Took us over an hour just to get to park in the park and then another hour to get into the park even though we preordered out tickets. All the while standing out in the blazing sun. No food, no water, just sweat. Finally get in the park and the lines for EVERYTHING are incrediably long. No shade inside the water park side either. Jamie went also to help drive another vehicle. He went back into Hot Springs, ate and went to movie while we all shriveled up in the heat. Good lesson learned here. We will not be going back to Young Christians Weekend at Magic Springs.

Weekend at Jenny's

We went to Jenny's this weekend for her birthday and to help her build a storage building. Jamie, Jenny and Gary mainly built this for her on Saturday. I helped paint on Sunday. It really looks great. Me, Jessica and Kacee went shopping Saturday afternoon while the rest sweated and toiled the rest of the day. We ended the day at Ted's Cafe Escondido. Pretty good restaurant but I like our regular Mexican restaurants better. I always love going to Jenny's. She has such a sweet little house. So comfortable. Here are some pictures of our weekend. Dad's birthday

Here are pics of Gary's big 55th birthday. Jenny brought her Wii game. We really had a good time with friends and family. All of the kids got to come home. Pam and Tim really got into playing baseball, Gary got knocked out by Kacee boxing, Jamie kept getting beat in Tennis by Jess and finally we have to make him leave.
