Giveaway and review

Isn't cereal a great way to start the day? My family has always loved cereal sometimes more than regular breakfast foods and this new cereal, Fiber One, is so yummy. Travel Tuesdays

Today I am joining Sandi at Whistlestop Cafe Cooking for something new she is starting...traveling Tuesdays. I love to travel and my favorite place so far is the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

Back to the pool

We decided on the blow up pool and after Jamie doing most of the work  spreading sand and getting it leveled we finally got to start filling it with water. Yeah!!!! While the water is going in the pool, the boys ate watermelon, played with the pool box and then got in the pool and used it as a water slide. Such a fun summer we are having. AND...it rained today which really cooled everything down here a lot. We have been having temperatures up to 108 so the relief was very much needed.

Birthday Party!

Jonah's birthday party was Saturday and his sweet mama made sure he had a good one. It was sooooo colorful and fun. There was a table with candies and frosting for the kids and adults to decorate cookies and cupcakes. They had so much fun. Jonah is not like Noah in that Noah loves his sugar and Jonah is a meat and potato kind of guy but...he still tore into his cake. What a mess. But that's OK 'cause he is such a sweetie pie and we love him very much. Happy Birthday my sweet boy.

Swimming pools

OK, so we're thinking of getting a small above ground pool. There are several options out there making it kind of hard to decide. You have sizes like 12' x 36' or 18' x 48' (do you go big or small), then there is this one

or this one, then where to put it especially when your yard doesn't really have a level spot in it and your husband is wanting to put it on the driveway or patio because that area is level. So, what do you think? Anyone with any experience in any of these options?

Happy 4th of July!

I pray everyone has a safe and great 4th of July. I also pray for our country, for us to get back to our forefathers' roots; to what the founding fathers of this great nation prayed themselves for his country to be. It is documented that our nation IS a Christian nation. Just saying that we're not doesn't make us not a Christian nation but it time for us to take stand and take our nation back! I pray for a second great awakening to happen in this great country of ours. Now is the time.
