We took the boys to Branson again this year. But major difference........we took all three of the boys. It was a wild and crazy weekend but we love it. We went to the same motel but got a room with a clubhouse built it in. The boys loved it and I think we are actually going to build a couple of them in loft of our new house. Sooooo cute. I thought I would wear my fitbit to see how many steps I took and wow. I walked as much in one day there as I did at camp. Can you say TIRED! all of us. But a good time was had by all.
Our church started having a "hee haw" (such as the tv show) event for our founding pastor's birthday. He loved Hee Haw and his birthday was around the time we would have a fall festival so this seemed a natural thing to do. Now it has become a tradition and has really grown. We wanted to have it outside this year but the weather was not very cooperative. Oh well, it was still a great day. We expanded the activities this year to include a hayride, kids games, a "Special" guest and of course our hee haw jokes, music and yummy dinner. We also had one of the local fire trucks come for the kiddos to see. Our special guest was Mickey Mouse (Jenny). The kids were so excited. One little girl kept saying "It's Mickey Mouse" over and over and jumping up and down. I love seeing how all the kids dressed up, even the teenagers got into the act. We have such a great group of teens..........they love the younger kids, have such servant hearts and are just all around great people.
Kate and Noah as Sailors. And now Capt. Hook and Maddie from Hunger Games. These two kids have really grown up
I am a child of the King, wife to the best husband in the world, mom of four wonderful children and one great daughter-in-law, Nana to the three cutest little boys and one beautiful little girl. We have a wonderful life. Who ever would have thought that I could have all of this.
