Great weekend

What a great weekend! We grilled hamburger, hotdogs, worked on the "clubhouse", ate shrimp, ice cream, took naps (kind of), the boys swam and we did lots of rocking on the patio. Such a great weekend but you know what? We woud be able to have such a great weekend if it wasn't for the men and women who fought for our freedom in the past, present and the future. THANK YOU! Thank you for giving us the freedom to grill hamburger, hotdogs....to work on a 'clubhouse' and everything else we so often take for granted. Again what a great weekend.

Outdoor Activities

So thankful my kids can build stuff otherwise I guess I would just have to hire it done. Jenny and Jamie with help from Gary are building the boys a "fort" playset. I really kind of just wanted a big treehouse but that really wasn't very practical and this will be much easier to build since they won't have to cut the lumber. I told them if they would build it I would keep them in plenty to drink and lots to eat. Guess that did the trick. I think the boys are really going to have fun playing on this. And hopefully many more grandchildren to come.
While Jamie and Jenny were busy building, Noah and Jonah were busy too.

Ending of a first

Today was Noah's last game of his first season of T-ball. I can't believe he even played this young....three years old. It was so much fun to watch him and they other kids too. They are so cute. There was playing in the dirt, watching the airplanes, running after the ball with everyone else and rolling in the dirt to fight over the ball, running to first base while carrying the bat, being carried from first to second base, swinging the bat so hard that you spin around and fall on the ground, and last of all having at least three kids crying either in the dugout or on the field. Such is the life of a three-four year old t-ball league. Poor coach. Bet he's glad this season is over. Well at least they all are learning to slap hands and say "good game".

Flea Market

We survived another weekend flea market. Wow, sometimes I have to wonder if I am getting to old for this sort of thing. I am so extremely tired afterwards but I love doing it or I guess I would quit. We had a fairly successful sale this weekend but I guess with everything that people have going on such as graduations, Mother's Day, decorations and weddings it was just too much. We did sell out of our chalkboards, sold jewelry, signs, lotion and lots of other small items just not much of our bigger furniture. We will have another sale in July so look for us then. Or if you just want to contact us to buy direct, we can do that too. Enjoy the pictures.

Mothers and Mother-in-laws

Happy Mother's Day to my most awesome mother. There have been so many times that I wish I could have talked to you, had a cup of coffee with you or just go shopping with you. I miss you so much, I love you to the moon and back, you were the very best and I hope that somehow you know that.
I also want to say Happy Mother's Day to the best mother-in-law there ever was. She was always there for me after my own mother was gone. I miss you very much too and hope you somehow know how much I love you.
